Belgian War Graves Chièvres

The cemetery in Chièvres contains the graves of military victims of the Second World War. It concerns CANON PAUL, Zuidschote 8 May 1915; BUSIAU Couronne, Calais (F) 1 April 1915; ETIENNE Edgard, Chièvres 27 December 1916.
There is also a grave monument of the Second World War in memory of NIEN Georges, fallen at Zingem on 22 May 1940 and GEVAS Victor, resistance fighter, sentenced to death for espionage and sabotage. He was executed in Ludwigsburg (D ) on 30 June 1944.
