Belgian War Graves Louette-St. Pierre

The cemetery contains a Belgian war grave from the Second World War.
"This is where Sergeant Achille DURY rests
Born February 2, 1919
Died in the field of honor
on May 10, 1940"
Sergeant Dury belonged to the 1st Ardennes Fighter 2nd Battalion 4th Company.
He died in Saint-Hubert on 10 May 1940 as a result of a heart attack while carrying out destruction missions in the vicinity of the Luxembourg-Belgian border immediately after the German invasion.
In Gedinne a place is named after him (Place Sergeant Achille Dury).

The cemetery contains the grave of Melin BAYONNET.
He was executed by the Germans on 9 June 1944.
