Under it hang six medallions, victims of the first world war,

On the foot of the monument hangs a second plate with medallion:
1940-1945: René GERARD
Brigadier of the Gendarmerie
Died for the Fatherland
in Moorslede on 25 May 1940
at the age of 25 years"

On the side left and right are the names of the fallen of the First World War with date of death:
COURTOIS Joseph - October 31, 1918 - SAINT Joseph - November 28, 1918
BESONHE Eugène - deported May 24, 1917

MOREAU Louis - September 26, 1914 - DEBRY Joseph - ... December 1918
… .. Felix - October 1918

At the back it says that the monument was solemnly consecrated on December 19, 1920.
