Monument Crash Wellington IC DV786 156 Squadron

The memorial was erected in memory of the five crew members of the Wellington IC DV786 156 Squadron that crashed in the hamlet of Linthout in Brussegem on the night of 2 to 3 June 1942.
The entire crew was killed.

Sergeant Patrick David Powell, R.A.F.
Sergeant Ernest Chadwick , R.A.F.
Sergeant Thomas Cudworth, R.A.F.
Sergeant Leonard Johnson, R.A.F.
Sergeant Thomas James Kehoe, R.A.F.

They are buried in Brussels Town Cemtery.
