Commemorative Plate War Victims Braives

Commemorative plate at Braives to remember the military and the civilian victims of the First and the Second World War.

The original plate contains the names of the fallen of the First World War: LEMAGE Joseph, Woumen 28 September 1918; MACA Oscar, Dunkerque (F) 2 November 1914; PIRONNET Jules, Avon (F) 5 March 1915; THIRION Jean Joseph, Boortmeerbeek 15 September 1914; THONUS François, De Panne 10 February 1917.

A plaque with the victims of the Second World War was added: JAMIN Gaston, Bavikhove 24 May 1940; SALMON Louis, Moorsele 25 May 1940; WANET Marcel, Gent 29 June 1940 and RENWART Gaston, deportee died in captivity at Gelsenkirchen (G) on 29 November 1943.
