Below the Hardt am Elzenberg, the local group of the Eifelverein Sötenich erected a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the First World War, which was inaugurated on July 31, 1931. The memorial stone stands on a rubble stone of 4 x 2 m with a boulder on it that would come from the ruins of the Stolzenburg. Embedded in the base is a stone in the shape of an iron cross. On it the words "OUR HERO". There is another command on the back.
