On the eastern edge of Urfey is a sort of roadside shrine with a cross. Under the roof-shaped superstructure is a plaque with the names of two fallen soldiers from the First World War and one from the Second World War.
In the fenced area near the cross is a memorial plaque with a report of a bomb attack that destroyed two houses and killed ten people. In the attack on January 6, 1945, a woman Schröder from Gemünd died with her two children and three prisoners of war.
