Crash Site Halifax Page LQ-M Ten Boer

A plaque was unveiled in Ten Boer on May 4, 2021 in honor of the crew of the RCAF Halifax bomber that crashed on July 25, 1943. The plane was shot down by a German night fighter. 6 of the 7 crew members were killed. The 5 Canadians and the Briton are buried in the cemetery of Ten Boer.
The plaque is located not far from the spot where the bomber crashed along the cycle path on Thesingerlaan.
