Memorial Chapel Ahle

Chapel at the Sunnenbree exit with the B70 national road. Laying of the foundation stone of the chapel on June 21, 1964, inauguration of the chapel on the "Day of Repentance and Prayer" or in German "Buß- und Bettag" in 1964.
The former monument had to be replaced by extension work on the B70.
Inside the chapel is a Pieta by the Ahlhausen sculptor Max Hundt and wooden nameplates. The nameplates commemorate the fallen and missing from Ahle in both world wars.
