Dutch Indies Memorial Ubachsberg

This memorial commemorates five men from the Municipality of Voerendaal who were killed in the Indonesian Independence War in the Dutch Indies between 1945 and 1950.

Behind the monument is a sign with photos and information (name, date of birth, date of death) of all 150 men from the Municipality of Voerendaal who fought in the Indonesian Independence War in the Dutch Indies or in Papua New Guinea.
