V1 Fallback Ampsen

One of the two so-called fall-back places for the V1 is located in the forest between Ampsen and Exel.
There were four launch sites and two fall-back sites in the vicinity. In the event that one of the four launch sites would become out of use, this fall-back site could be put into use.
This refuge was not used during the Second World War. The remains are still in the forest.
