On road no. 128 from Alytus towards Vilnius, just past the territory of Pocelonys is a German cemetery from WW1.
There are 88 concrete crosses in poor condition. There are 100 people buried there. There are also (some) Russians buried there.
It is also striking that all death dates on all crosses are almost the same: between 29/08/1915 and 02/09/1915. According to archives, it appears that the town was "liberated" by the Russians on 26/08/1915.
