A little outside the municipality of Vorst, there was a Jewish cemetery on this spot until 1940. On July 11 of that year, the mayor was informed that the cemetery had been destroyed. After this, he submitted a request to raze the cemetery to the ground, for which, however, no permission was obtained.
Allied aircrews who died in 1944 were buried in this cemetery, which were later reburied at the Royal Air Force cemetery in Kleve.
An information board has been installed at the entrance to the cemetery since 1916
