Here in Waalwijk is a memorial stone for:
ZYGFRYD NASCH, murdered on August 31, 1944 in Central-Europe.
This memorial stone is located here for a Jewish, Polish student of the School for the Shoe and Leather Industry. Via Westerbork he went by train to Auschwitz, but en route in Poland the men between the ages of 15 and 50 had to get off at an intermediate station for forced labour. It was clear that he was no longer alive on August 31.
