HENRICUS PETRUS CORNELIS (HARRY) HENS, died on August 10, 1940 in Waalwijk.
This memorial stone is located here for a non-commissioned officer of the infantry who was involved in heavy fighting at the Keizersveer bridge. He saw many soldiers die and returned to his family a broken man. The death of his comrades never left him. On August 10, he was found drowned in the drainage canal.
