Monument Munitiedepot Hoog Soeren

On September 30, 2021, Mayor Ton Heerts and Arjan Leemans have the monument Munitiedepot Hoog Soeren.
The monument is an initiative of the municipality of Apeldoorn, Kroondomein Het Loo, the Central Government Real Estate Agency and the remediation company Leemans.
It is a map of the underground ammunition bunkers that formed the largest German ammunition depot in northwestern Europe. The map was designed by Han Goudswaard.
The map is embedded in eifelgesteente which was brought in by the Germans to build the roads of the ammunition depot.
