Belgian War Grave Herbeumont

The cemetery of Herbeumont contains the grave of the fallen René PERLOT.
He was a soldier 5th Ardennes Fighter 2nd Battalion 6th Company.
He died for the Fatherland in Deinze on 25 May 1940 (18-day campaign) when an attempt was made to erect a cross line on the breach at Meigem (Deinze), which had already been made by the Germans.
