Museum of the Papendrecht Village Preservation Foundation

The museum of the Stichting Dorpsbehoud Papendrecht is housed in the former military police barracks.

In the 'Lancaster room' of the museum there is a permanent exhibition about the Lancaster B. Mk III "Popeye" with code ND 913 A4-M2 which crashed July 21, 1944 in Papendrecht. The Lancaster was part of 115 Squadron from Witchford (England).

In front of the museum is a propeller of the Lancaster.
