Memorial Cross Kufstein

In the late days of World War II, Kufstein's historic city center suffered from Allied bombing.
Below the fortress of Kufstein is a memorial cross with inscription:

"My people, what have I done to you?
Answer.

On November 4, 1944 and May 2, 1945
our hometown was threatened with total destruction by war.
God has miraculously saved us from this. "
