Memorial Louise de Bettignies Froyennes

Monument in memory of Louise de BETTIGNIES, alias Alice DUBOIS, French resistance fighter. She was arrested here by the Germans on 20 October 1915.
Louise de BETTIGNIES died in captivity in Germany on 27 September 1918, due to the poor conditions of her detention and lack of care.
This monument was inaugurated on 27 September 2018, 100 years after her death.
