Next to the stairway to the church and cemetery in Erp, there is a memorial for those who fell in the campaigns of 1866 and 1870-71. The facility was inaugurated on July 16, 1911. The obelisk-shaped memorial stands on a three-tiered base and two other slabs, above a dark stone slab with a dedication and the names of the fallen warriors. Above the plate a relief made of metal, on the left a kneeling, praying warrior, opposite another representation, the upper end is the obelisk made of light stone material. An iron cross in a circular medallion made of gold mosaic. On top of the column head there is a ball with an eagle on it.
