Here in Voorburg two Stumbling Stones are laid on April 22, 2020 ​for:

AREND SAMUEL MEIJERS, murdered on October 31 in Vierhouten.

JOHN ROEDOLF MEIJERS,murdered on October 31 in Vierhouten.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims. Father and son Meijers went into hiding in an underground shelter in the woods near Vierhouten. When the occupiers discovered the underground shelters, all the captives in hiding were shot. Father and son Meiers are buried in the field of honor in Loenen.
