East Midlands Aeropark is an Aviation museum located next to East Midlands Airport. With aircraft from the years gone by on display, it is the perfect day out for families, couples and aviation enthusiasts. With perfect views over the Airport, you can sit and watch the arriving, moving and departing aircraft. The Aeropark has toilet and shop facilities, selling souvenirs, hot and cold drinks and light snacks. The Aeropark is available for group visits all year round, suitable for schools, scout groups, car enthusiast groups, photographers and many more. We sometimes hold special event days so you can find out more about these through our social media sites (Facebook and Instagram), as well as on our website. Our site is fully accessible to pushchairs and wheelchairs and our amazing team of volunteers are always on hand to help. Unfortunately we can only open aircraft on special event days for public to view inside, as this is dependant on volunteer attendance. We also have a function room on site which is available for private hire to accommodate a range of different events including: Birthdays, christenings, meetings and film screenings.
This museum has 24 aircraft currently on display. There are also engines, photographs and other artefacts. The museum also contains a original Romney building from the Second World War.
For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
