Resistance Memorial Zelzate

This resistance cross, commemorating six resistance fighters executed by the Germans, was formerly located in Klein-Valkenisse, but was replaced in 2021 by a new version. This original monument was moved to Zelzate, the home town of one of the resistance fighters, the Belgian André Pierets who was 39 years old when he was executed.
