Memorial Crew RAF Bomber Lancaster NN775
This memorial was erected in remembrance of the seven crew members of the British bomber Lancaster NN775 which crashed in Glabbeek on 5 March 1945.
The seven crew members: pilot Holman Kerr, sergeant William Marsden, navigator Sidney Smith, Sergeant Frank Clarke, Sergeant Alan Olsen (Australia), Sergeant Christopher Hogg and Sergeant Herbert Thomas were killed in the crash.
The memorial consists of a propeller from the crashed bomber.
