Memorial Plane Crash Sake-Masisi 1960

Commemorative plaque in memory of TOUSSAINT Joseph Frans, corporal V.V.E. 10th Wing at Kleine-Brogel and VAN HOVE Renatus, soldier V.V.E. 10th Wing at Kleine-Brogel, who died in the plane crash at Sake-Masisi (Congo) on 19 July 1960.
41 soldiers were killed in that crash, including 36 members of the VVE 10th Wing Air Force and the five crew members of the C-119 Flying Boxcar.
