Transformer Building Overmaat

Camp Overmaat was built as a small independent camp for technical personnel. Like all other buildings on the fliegerhorst, the buildings were built in an old landscape style so as not to stand out. This transformer house is extra solidly built, the door is made of extra heavy metal. The square plates, mounted in a wedge shape, cover ventilation grilles. This could have been done with grids, but this construction is extra solid and possibly shrapnel resistant.
This transformer building is still in use.
