Jack's Wood (Bois Jacques)
Jack's Wood, better known as Bois Jacques, made famous by the book and series Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose and Steven Spielberg respectively. The 101st Airborne Division, including Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, held their ground in this forest.
