Monument commemorating Advanced Landing Ground A13.
Construction of this temporary airfield began on July 12, 1944 and was completed on July 28. From July 19, the 373rd Fighter Group already established itself at the airfield with three squadrons: 410 Fighter Squadron, 411 Fighter Squadron and 412 Fighter Squadron. These Squadrons were equipped with P-47 Thunderbolts.
On August 5, the 406th Fighter Group arrived with P-47 Thunderbolts. In August 1944 the P-47 Thunderbolts were replaced by the B-26 Marauders of the 394th Bombardment Group.

On December 2, 1944, the temporary airfield was closed.
