The cemetery in NIeuwrode contains the graves of military victims of the First World War. These are the graves of, among others, DECKERS Jan, Diksmuide 2 May 1916 and MEYNAERTS Frans, Kortemark 14 October 1918.
The inscriptions on other war graves are illegible.
