On the National Necropolis of Sedan "Torcy" is a monument in honor of the 18 soldiers who died, whose graves are untraceable.
The text on the memorial stone reads:
'TO THE MEMORY OF
THESE 14 SOLDIERS
OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE
WHO DIED IN 1918 AS
PRISONER OF WAR AND
WERE BURIED AT THE
TIME IN GIVET GERMAN
CEMETERY AND IN
MAUBERT-FONTAINE
GERMAN CEMETERY
BUT WHOSE GRAVES
ARE NOW LOST
THEIR GLORY
SHALL NOT BE BLOTTED OUT'
