Stumbling Stone Van Baerlestraat 98

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN HIS NAME IS FORGOTTEN'.
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam one Stumbling Stones is laid on August 18, 2021 for:

DR. FRIEDER WEISSMANN, fled from Germany in 1933, fled to USA in 1939.

This Stumbling Stone is reminiscent of Weissmann, as conductor of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Before the Second World started in the Netherlands, he had fled to the USA.
