Jewish Cemetery Bodenwerder

Until 1942, the large Jewish cemetery of Bodenwerder was located on this location. In 1942 the cemetery was cleared by the National Socialists and given to local industry. After the war, part of the cemetery was restored.
This is the only reminder of the pre-war large Jewish community in Bodenwerder.
