War Memorial Bellano
The San Rocco Memorial is an old church, dating back to 1489 and converted in 1969 into a shrine dedicated to war dead.
Most surprising, however, are two large bombs right on the sides of the door. These bombs (420 mm), dating from the First World War, were donated to the city of Bellano by the city of Chiavenna in 1991 and were placed here precisely because the church of San Rocco e Sebastiano al Ponte commemorates the fallen of Bellano.
