Statue The Paratrooper Sint-Denijs-Westrem

This statue is a memorial to the former airfield of Sint-Denijs-Westrem.
During the First World War and the Second World War, this airfield was used by the German occupier. After the Liberation in 1944, the airfield was used by the British Royal Air Force.
