Monument Destruction Grande-Synthe
Monument in memory of the victims and destruction of Grande-Synthe.
The Second World War meant that German troops surrounded French and English troops near Dunkirk, after which they evacuated them to England. On September 15, 1944, Grande-Synthe was almost completely destroyed.
