At the back of the Church of the Holy Cross is a memorial stone for the victims of the First World War.
In the center is a mosaic cross with the coat of arms of Belgium below.
Bottom verse 10 from 1 Maccabees 9: "Moriamur in virtute propter fratres nostros"
"Let us die in power for the sake of our brethren".
Left and right are the names of the victims.
Two frames hang above the memorial stone:
left: "Honor list of the dead of the war 1940-1945" with below the names of the political prisoners who died in captivity and the resistance fighters.
right: "Honor list of the dead of the war 1940-1945" with below the names of the soldiers who fell on the field of honor and the prisoners of war who died in captivity.
