Monument to the Armored Troops

On the Pig Market is a monument, a tribute to the armored troops of the two world wars. Inaugurated on February 23, 1936, it was designed by architect Stubbe.

The memorial is a simple triangular stele on a stepped plinth of bluestone.
At the top is a relief with an armored vehicle
At the front is the French text:
"Aux Morts des Autos-blindés
1914-1918
1940-1945

On the pedestal in front: "Anvers", left "Flandres" and right "Reigersvliet"
