Chapel Wessum

This chapel dates from the 16th century and was converted into a war memorial in 1920/1921. In 1945 the building was destroyed by bombing.
The chapel has subsequently undergone a renovation and was finally brought into the state it is today. This on the initiative of the church community and the local shooter association Wesum and Averesch

The chapel contains stone plaques on the wall with the names of the fallen from both wars. On the central fireplace, above which 2 religious figures, the inscription; our dead.
The chapel is beautifully centrally located next to the church.
