Memorial Liberators of the City

Arlon was liberated on September 10, 1944 by Keystone 28th Infantry Division and Task Force Strickler.
A memorial plaque, inaugurated on September 3, 1994, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation hangs on the former Gendarmerie building.
