Memorial Maximilian Graf von Landsberg-Velen

On the old cemetery of Gemen, at the very back of the site, there is a secluded and completely detached chapel, built for Maximilian Graf von Landsberg-Velen. In the chapel, right on the back wall, there is a plaque for his son, Eberhard Graf von Landsberg-Velen, who died during the Second World War, on September 25, 1942 during the fighting in Stalingrad. The dome is closed, but the plaque can be seen through the openings, unfortunately difficult to capture on photo.
