Monument at the Jewish cemetery in memory of the eight Jewish citizens of Hasselt who were deported in 1942 and murdered in extermination camps in Eastern Europe.
The monument symbolizes a house: the doorpost and sill symbolize the last through which the deported Jews passed through and over, to their death. It is a right door jamb, which occupies an important place in Jewish tradition.
