Air Raid Shelter Rummerkampstraat

The air raid shelter near Rummerkamp Street was built as one of four planned. Capacity 700 people. After the war, the Océ factory was partly built over it. As a result, the entrance was hidden from view, but the shelter was preserved and is part of Venlo's heritage. After the factory was demolished, the bunker amid a new residential area is fully visible again.
At the time, the entrance was located in Genooi a working-class neighbourhood in Venlo-North.
