Crash Site British Wellington Bomber

At this location were the remains of a shot down British Wellington bomber. This bomber was shot down on April 13, 1942.
The memorial sign is located along the carriageway of the Langstraat in Venhorst and looks out towards the crash site.
This sign was made by Heemkundekring Sint Achten op Boeckel and placed on August 31, 2022. At the Boekelse war memorial there is also a plaque with this device on it.
