Hangars Fliegerhorst Venlo
On the south side of Fliegerhorst Venlo, the Leuth side, so the Süd Lager, has two characteristic ruins.
Hangars built after early 1942 did not have a concrete screed floor, but a clinkered floor. The hangar of the gliding club was built in November '42 and also had no screed.
Aerial photos show fully completed hangars with even vehicles in the immediate vicinity.
