Belgian War Graves Desteldonk

The churchyard in Desteldonk contains the grave of a military victim of the Second World War. It concerns Jan DE GHEEST, Gent 23 May 1940.
There is also the grave of René BUYSSE, resistance fighter and member of the Secret Army, who died in Mendonk on 12 September 1944.
