Memorial Missing US soldiers Hürtgenwald

Unofficial monument to US soldiers who went missing during the Battle of the Hürtgenwald. The monument has been altered over the years, probably by visitors. Photos 1 and 2 show the situation in 2024. A large part of the surrounding forest has been cut down due to the installation of windmills and a cross topped with a helmet has been placed, among other things.

Photos 3 to 5 are of earlier date.
