Memorial 2nd Lt Hindersinn

Memorial for 2nd Lieutenant Kenneth Hindersinn, 83rd Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group, 8th US Army Air Force.
He was shot down near Gourbesville but was able to use his parachute. He was taken prisoner and spent the rest of the war in a German PoW-camp. He died in 2003 at the age of 82.
The remains of the aircraft were recovered and the memorial was reveiled in September 2010.
