This hut is intended as a memorial for the women who passed there in April 1945 during the death march from the Ravensbrück concentration camp in the north of Brandenburg.
The Drewiner Hütte marks the beginning of the "Path of Remembrance" from Drewin to Bärenbruch. This path was designed by children and young people of the association "Gemeinsam" from the district of Oberhavel (Brandenburg). In the hut you can see things like the women had in April 1945: clogs, worn slippers, torn rags.
