Powder Factory Geesthacht
The Düneberg powder factory was located at this location in the Besenhorster Sandbergen nature reserve, where gunpowder for military purposes was produced between 1935 and April 1945, by forced labourers, among others. The area is freely accessible, there are many concrete remains of the factory buildings.
